Day 1, Monday, 6 June 2011,
Today, I have learnt a lot from all the activities. The plenary sessions taught me that the things a lot of us take for granted has a lot of Science for it and it is not as easy and simple as it seems. It also showed me that the things we all think are easy and requires less expertise has shown to be harder and it can successfully become a profession for the very few interested in it. It also showed that we can accidentally fall in love with a job and fall in love with it no matter how disgusting it is, if we put our heart and souls into it. I have also learnt that there are many people who specialize in weird jobs. There are also some jobs which can take over most of the others, like engineering, and the camera pills. This jobs are going to be future jobs which will take over most of the jobs in the future. This are the jobs we should look out for. The talk today has made an impact on my decision for choosing my future job and path, so I greatly appreciate the talk and effort they put in and hopefully i will use it in my life.
